MC Supreme Dead: Rapper Dies at 47 in Malibu Car Crash,MC Supreme best known for his 1990 rap single Black In America passed on matured 47 on Saturday in the wake of being struck by a suspected intoxicated driver in Malibu, California.
Dewayne Lawrence Coleman, known by his stage name MC Supreme, was declared dead at the scene of the early morning mishap.
He was sitting with a lady in his stopped Honda Civic on a shoulder of Pacific Coast Highway around 6:20 am the point at which a pickup slammed into his vehicle, authorities said.
Coleman's sedan moved over onto a dike over the shoreline. The female passenger was taken to a close-by hospital with obscure injuries.
The pickup flipped and struck another stopped vehicle with two individuals inside, however they were not harmed.
The driver of the pickup was distinguished as 34-year-old Philip Torres II and he was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and driving impaired.
Torres suffered minor injuries.
The cause of the crash stayed under scrutiny.
Coleman was an individual from the West Coast Rap All-Stars that included MC Hammer, Tone-Loc, Ice-T, Digital Underground and Dr. Dre, MC Ren and Eazy-E of N.W.A.
