Price Is Right' Wheelchair Treadmill Gaffe: Woman With No Feet Gets Pri

Price Is Right' Wheelchair Treadmill Gaffe: Woman With No Feet Gets Pri, "The Price Is Right" awarded a treadmill to a woman in a wheelchair on Tuesday, and, while viewers thought it was a little awkward, she said she was excited to win it.

"It was funny because the audience got a little quiet. Like you could feel the audience go, 'Wait a minute, that is not appropriate.' But it was so funny," the contestant, Danielle Perez, told Complex.com.

"I had such a good time. I was like, yes I want it! I don't need it at all! But I want it. Now I can use my Nike fitness band on my treadmill. I'm really excited."

Perez is a comedian based in Los Angeles, and CNN reported that she lost her legs in an accident in 2004.

In both her post-win interview and on her Twitter account, Perez seemed to take it all in stride.

She also retweeted a number of people who suggested uses for the treadmill, like walking her dog on a rainy day.
