Vehicle, house damaged in clash

Vehicle, house damaged in clash, A house and a vehicle were damaged when a clash between the supporters of the same political party intensified in Eravurpattu, Batticaloa yesterday.

One group had pelted stones at the vehicle, while the other group had hurled a petrol bomb at the house.

Police arrested eight suspects and 11 more are to be arrested.

Eravur police are investigating.
