Kellyanne Conway Hates Trump, MSNBC morning hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough stepped up their attacks on President Donald Trump’s adviser Kellyanne Conway on Monday, telling viewers that she secretly loathes her employer and hates spinning for him.
According to Brzezinski, during Trump’s presidential bid, Conway would express disgust at having to defend Trump at the end of segments, but only when the camera was off:
“This is a woman, by the way, who came on our show during the campaign and would shill for Trump in extensive fashion and then she would get off the air, the camera would be turned off, the microphone would be taken off and she would say ‘bleeech I need to take a shower’ because she disliked her candidate so much.”
According to Scarborough, after Trump’s “Access Hollywood” outtake in which he claimed he could
get away with grabbing women’s genitalia became public, Conway changed how she referred to him in interviews:
“And also, I thought it was very interesting, after the Access Hollywood tape came out, that’s when she started referring to Donald Trump as ‘my client.’”
According to Scarborough, Conway referred to her time working for Trump as a temporary affair, something she would have to get past. Oddly enough, however, she compared it to a European vacation.
On Friday, the MSNBC co-hosts and fiancés begged CNN to stop inviting Conway on the air for interviews, claiming that she was “politics porn” and that the rival network was merely seeking “
ratings crack.”
“You’re just getting your little ratings crack, but it’s disgusting,” Brzezinski said. “There’s nothing that she brings to the table that’s honest. Your hosts know it. Your hosts look pained when they interview her because they know they’re just doing politics porn — they’re not doing news. We need to stick to the news.”
During the Republican presidential primaries, both Scarborough and Brzezinski were very friendly to Trump and frequently interviewed him on their program. Reportedly,
he offered to officiate their wedding or allow them to hold it at the White House or his private resort, Mar-a-Lago.....
