U.S. Air Armament Central Command said it endure flew the all-embracing bombers operationally in the arena in May 2006 as allotment of the war in Afghanistan, and during a U.S.-led aggressive exercise in Jordan in May 2015.
"The B-52 demonstrates our connected boldness to administer assiduous burden on Daesh and avert the arena in any approaching contingency," said Air Force Lieutenant General Charles Brown, administrator of U.S. Air Armament Central Command.
Daesh is the Arabic acronym for the Islamic State active movement.
Lieutenant Colonel Chris Karns, agent for the Central Command, said he could not accommodate the exact amount of B-52 bombers to be based at Al Udeid Air Basein Qatar due to "operational aegis reasons."
