In Q1 2016, Asia mergers amp;amp; acquisitions activity increased 9% compared to the same time period in 2015, according to Thomson Reuters. The region accounted for $275B in Mamp;amp;A deals, accounting for almost 40% of total global Mamp;amp;A deal activity of $699B. These figures do not include Japan.
