I Am Cait Renewed

I Am Cait Renewed, Caitlyn Jenner's television career is blooming. E! has ordered a second season of I Am Cait, the reality series which documented how Jenner introduced herself to her family (and the world) as a woman after transitioning from Bruce Jenner.

In its first season, I Am Cait volleyed between documenting Jenner's "new normal" and advocating for transgender rights. Some critics complained there were too many soapy Kardashian moments (Kim Kardashian, Kylie and Kendall Jenner all stopped by); others wanted more appearances by the famous family members.

The season finale featured a showdown between Jenner and ex-wife, Kris, and their attempt to bury the hatchet.Despite a dip in ratings following its much-publicized debut, I Am Cait will return in 2016, according to E!.

"Caitlyn's story has ignited a global conversation on the transgender community on a scale that has never been seen before," said E! executive vice president of programming Jeff Olde, in a statement "We are honored Caitlyn has chosen to continue to share her ongoing story with our viewers around the world."I'm looking forward to continuing the conversation," tweeted Jenner, who filed paperwork in September to make her name and gender change official.

On Wednesday, Jenner announced a 5-city speaking tour focusing on transgender acceptance. The same day she was seen attending Kim Kardashian's 35th birthday party, thrown by Kanye West.
