Hungarian camerawoman Petra Laszlo seen tripping refugee in video to sue victim, First, she kicked him. And now she plans to sue him.

Hungarian camerawoman Petra Laszlo was sacked by N1TV last month after being caught on film kicking refugee children, and tripping a man carrying his son, as they ran from police at a Hungarian camp.

She apologised at the time, but now wants to clear her name - by suing Syrian refugee Osama Abdul Mohsen over his claim she tripped him.

In an interview with Russian news outlet Izvestia, Laszlo said Mohsen fell over before reaching her outstretched leg.
"One of the refugees did not want to obey the police, he started to run away from them. I just wanted to help the police. And when I walked up to him, on the record it shows that he has already fallen," she said.
Laszlo doesn't deny kicking two other refugees, but says it was "a defensive reaction" as a group ran towards her.

Laszlo's also planning to sue Facebook over its refusal to take down dozens of fake profiles and dedicated hate pages.
"We will file a lawsuit on Facebook. And prove that the refugee Osama [was] wrong. He changed his testimony after he initially blamed police. My husband wants to prove my innocence. For him, it is now a matter of honour," she told Izvestia.

Laszlo has been charged in Hungary with breach of the peace, and is expected to stand trial in December. She said any civil action would follow her trial, after which she plans to leave Hungary, perhaps for Russia.
