The Queen loves fact-checking 'Downton Abbey', There's already a historical adviser on the show — Alastair Bruce, who is known as "The Oracle" on set.
But he ain't got nothing on the eagle-eyed Queen, who has also stayed at Highclere Castle, where Downton Abbey is filmed.
"They do tend to get it right. However, the Queen did notice on one episode that there was a young so-called British officer wearing medals which had not been awarded when he was supposed to be alive. He was fighting in the First World War and the medals on his chest did not come in until the Second World War," Hoey said.
She's not the only royal fan. Apparently, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, loves it and makes Will, the Duke of Cambridge, watch it with her. Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall is also a fan but Charles, the Prince of Wales, not so much. Hopefully they won't be too upset with the show's impending conclusion.
