Jimmy Carter: Former President gets put on “Kiss Cam” at Braves game, smacks one on wife Rosalynn carter, Jimmy Carter has been battling cancer that has spread to his brain, but that didn’t stop him and his wife Rosalynn Carter from attending an Atlanta Braves game—or playing to the crowd.

Instead of simply enjoying the game, the 90-year-old former president and his wife Rosalynn got in on the action when the two were put up on the big screen as part of a ‘Kiss Cam’ feature in between innings.

Wasting no time, the couple of 69 gave each other a big smooch, to the delight of the crowd and the world at large.

Carter announced on Aug. 20 that doctors discovered cancer in his liver and four spots of melanoma in his brain, saying that he had originally thought he only had weeks to live.

Fortunately, medical science has made great strides in treating melanoma in recent years and doctors are hopeful that they can get the former president into remission.
