Jessica Simpson Beauty Interview, In 2005, Jessica Simpson launched a fragrance and body care collection called Dessert Treats. This was a long time ago; her then-husband, Nick Lachey, was at the launch. Though she didn't know it at the time, those products were the beginning of what would become Jessica's billion-dollar beauty, fashion, and home product empire, the Jessica Simpson Collection.
There was a lot to celebrate Wednesday night at the Jessica Simpson Collection's 10th anniversary party in New York City. This time, Jessica's now-husband, Eric Johnson, was on her arm for the event, which doubled as the launch of her latest fragrance — her eighth — which is aptly called Jessica Simpson Ten.
In honor of the decade-in-business milestone, we asked Jessica what she thinks has changed about her beauty look and routine in the intervening years."It's funny," she replied. "I don't really know that I've changed so much."
And she has a point: looking at photos from a decade ago, she's still the same Jessica with bright blond hair, a big smile, and flawless skin. Jessica even let us in on her secret skin care splurge: masks from SK-II. "I just put on one today," she said.
One thing about Jessica, though, has changed: her clothes.
"I'm not wearing costumes anymore," she said. "But I'm definitely still the Texas girl that dresses up. I still like to dress up. But then, I'm the Texas girl that likes to wear her denim.
