'Game of Thones' Kit Harington drops John Snow hint, It was the most infuriating cliffhanger of Game of Thrones Season 5: Is Jon Snow dead or isn’t he??
Despite multiple — and we mean multiple — reports from the actors, the showrunners, from President Obama himself, fans are still not quite sure that our favorite sullen-faced Northern bastard has snuffed it for good.
And Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, may have just confirmed that he is back in action for the upcoming sixth season. In an interview with a Belgian magazine while promoting his film Testament of Youth, Harington let slip that he’s still under contract with the HBO show. He said (via Huffington Post):
” …I had to pass on amazing parts because I was attached to ‘Game of Thrones.’ So the show is like a double-edged sword to me: I owe a lot to it, but at the same time it almost completely consumes me.
…Let’s just say that ‘Game of Thrones’ will remain a part of my life for a while; I’ll probably be in my 30s when it’s over. One thing’s for sure: the day I’m no longer on ‘Thrones’ is the day I’ll bury myself in movie projects (laughs).”
So what does this mean? Could his “death” be one of those silly prophetical play on words like “kill the boy and let the man be born”? Or (verging into book spoilers here) is Jon Snow’s body actually dead but he is able to warg into the body of his wolf Ghost? Or could Melisandre use her magical jet engine and appear at the Wall again to use her magic to resurrect Jon Snow?
