Amy Duggar: 'I Can't Wait to Change My Name!', Amy Dugger just might sprint down the aisle.
Following her cousin Josh Duggar's shocking cheating scandal, the second maelstrom her family has faced in just a year, Amy is more than ready to start anew and put some distance between herself and the drama.
"I'm so excited," Amy tells PEOPLE exclusively of her upcoming wedding to fiancé of less than two months, Dillon King. Their nuptials are taking place over the upcoming Labor Day Weekend, "but I'm not stressed," she says. "We're having a lot of fun with it." She's of course looking forward to seeing herself in the dress and having that first post-vow kiss, but what Amy's most excited about is the paperwork. "I can't wait to change my name!" she says. "It's going to be a great day when Dillon signs that marriage license and my last name changes. You have no idea!"
It's a change she has long looked forward to. "People have always called me the 'Rebel Duggar,' " she says of fans juxtaposing her against her seemingly straight-laced cousins, "But I definitely have morals and standards," she says.
Though her family is still shocked and furious, at Josh's revelations, Amy is trying hard to put it all behind her ahead of the big day. "Despite all the crap going on in my family," she says, "a few days from now will be an awesome moment."
