Shonda Rhimes ABC Comedy, Shonda Rhimes has the ability to tap into viewers’ every emotion, and now she’s setting her sights on making us fall out from laughter.According to Entertainment Weekly, the Shondaland CEO is reportedly creating a comedy series for ABC, which is home to her three-hit shows, Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How To Get Away With Murder.
The new program titled Splitsville, will focus on a presumably tight-knit neighborhood that’s rocked by a string of divorces. Single-parent households later band together to raise their children in this suburban community. There’s no word on when the show will air, but fans of Rhimes are definitely looking forward to the return of “Thank God It’s Thursday,” shortly known as TGIT.During the primetime slot from 8-11 p.m. Shondaland is in full effect, which kicks off Sept. 24 with the arrival of Grey’s Anatomy followed by Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder.
