Robin Wright, Ben Foster call off engagement for second time: report, Robin Wright and Ben Foster have called it quits — again.
The couple have ended their engagement for the second time, according to Us Weekly.
“They gave it another go, but were still having the same issues,” a source told the site, adding they actually split a few months ago.
Wright, 49, and Foster, 34, met on the set of the 2011 movie “Rampart,” after the “House of Cards” star had finalized her divorce from Sean Penn.
The two got engaged in Jan. 2014, only to split up in November, but reunited once again in January of this year.
Prior to splitting with the “Kill Your Darlings” star for the second time, Wright gushed about their relationship in the April issue of Vanity Fair.
“I've never been happier in my life than I am today," Wright told the magazine.
"Perhaps it's not ladylike (to say), but I've never laughed more, read more, or come more than with Ben."
As for what caused their breakup, the source attributed the stars’ split to their 14-year-age difference.
“Ben was kind of immature,” the insider said. “She couldn’t deal with him anymore.”
Reps for Wright and Foster did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
