Ritual Murder Florida, A Florida lady and her two grown-up children were killed in their Pensacola home in what examiners accept was a ceremonial homicide connected to a week ago's "blue moon," police said on Tuesday.

The casualties, recognized as Voncile Smith, 77, John William Smith, 49, and Richard Thomas Smith, 47, were discovered dead on Friday, three days after police trust somebody the family knew entered the home and killed them as a major aspect of a witchcraft custom.

"Starting exploration has persuaded it was a ceremonial murdering," Escambia County Sheriff David Morgan told a news meeting. "The strategy for the homicide … and our individual of hobby has a few binds to a confidence or religion that is demonstrative of that."

The wrongdoing seems to have been a piece of a witchcraft practice connected to the July 31 "blue moon," a reference to the second of two full moons that show up in a timetable month, he said.

"The components of this case are odd, best case scenario," Morgan said. "We have an extremely hermitic crew. Clearly we've solicited the area, addressed individuals who've lived there for a considerable length of time and years. Neighbors have identified with us that they've never met individuals from this family," he said.

Every one of the three casualties had their throats opening and were beat with what was accepted to be a hook hammer, Morgan said, and Richard Thomas Smith, a Department of Homeland Security worker, was likewise shot in the head, maybe to cripple him before the homicides.
