Man Buys Car ATM Workers, One of two men associated with snatching a pack containing $150,000 in real money that was erroneously abandoned by ATM laborers purchased a SUV with the cash hours after the fact, police said.

Alton Harvey, 42, of Hillside, was captured Wednesday after police followed a white van that was caught on reconnaissance feature pulling up to the pack of money that the ATM workers overlooked outside a business in Mahwah, in northern New Jersey, on Monday. The feature demonstrated a traveler in the van snatching the sack.

Police said the van was seen in another feature maneuvering into a close-by auto repair business and appropriating utilized tires.

Subsequent to discovering the van in Irvington, police captured Harvey.

Harvey said he was driving the van and told criminologists that a Chevrolet Tahoe was bought with money from the pack not long after it was gotten, Police Chief James Batelli said in a news discharge. The SUV, which has a beginning sticker cost of $46,000, was stopped close to the van.

Criminologists recognized the traveler as Jamar Bludson, 35, of Newark. Police issued a warrant for Bludson, who likewise is needed for a probation infringement, Batelli said.
