J.J. Abrams literally broke his back helping injured Harrison Ford on the new 'Star Wars' set, J.J. Abrams was on "The Daily Show" Thursday night advancing his new film "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" (which he created), yet all Jon Stewart needed to do was get any information about Abrams' next coordinating exertion, "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens."

Stewart wasn't fruitful, however Abrams was willing to open up about the on-set harm Harrison Ford endured.

"There was a water driven entryway that went down, he was pushed down, and his lower leg went 90 degrees," Abrams told Stewart.

The performer broke his lower leg, and Abrams depicted to Stewart how he hurried to Ford's guide.

"I'm attempting to lift him up, in light of the fact that that is the sort of fellow I am," he said. "I'm attempting to lift this entryway and I hear a pop [in my back] and I go, 'Gracious, that is peculiar.' So I go to the specialist a few days adjust and he goes, 'Goodness, you have a crushed spirit.'"

The specialist educated Abrams that he had softened his L4 up his spine. Yet, the chief kept chipping away at "Star Wars."

"A couple of months after the fact regardless i'm wearing this truly senseless back support under my shirt, no one knows, I didn't tell anyone. Harrison Ford from over the stage sprints to me speedier than I will ever run, and he's similar to 'Hey, J.J.!'"

Abrams said of Ford, "The fellow is similar to a genuine superhero."
