Heidi and Zac were injured by a nail so rusty that both ended up in the hospital to avoid tetanus, reported MSN on August 24.
Klum and Posen were immersed on the fashion reality show set when Heidi and Zac somehow managed to step on the same rusty nail. Neither Klum nor Posen shared just how they could share one small nail, but they did travel as a couple to the hospital.
Heidi shared her pain with her fans by posting an Instagram pic showing them with pitifully sad faces. And in a Klum fashion first, she wore a bandage on her foot and an ID bracelet that matched Posen's. A new fashion trend? Probably not, although Tim Gunn might be able to make it work.
Hosting the 14th season of "Project Runway" was put on hold so Heidi could tend to her injury, reported the Daily Mail on August 23.
Klum's caption for her hospital picture summed up the fashionista's accident.
"Well we both did #Bettersafethansorry @zac_posen," penned Heidi.
Klum also showed that she knows how to dress for success even in a hospital environment. Heidi donned a chic black tank top, paired with camouflage trousers in a soft shade of green that were fitted to flaunt her fabulous figure.
And while Klum looked gorgeous even with her hair styled into a simple bun, Posen managed to keep up with his own fashion look by going with khaki pants and a button-downed shirt. Of course those hospital bracelets made the perfect accessory.
