Boy ruins $1.5M painting, The 17th century oil painting "Flowers" by Italian master Paolo Porpora was being displayed in Taipei, Taiwan for all to see.
A 12-year-old boy, who was walking by the exhibit and listening to the tour guide, lost his balance and fell right into the 400-year-old painting.Sun said that the boy and his family were very remorseful about the accident. Because of their regret and the painting's insurance, the family will not face any punishment. Unfortunately, the painting was so badly damaged, that it will not likely be able to be repaired.
