Bobbi Kristina Brown: Father Bobby Brown Sings For First Time After Funeral,Bobby Brown returned to the stage for the first time since he laid to rest his daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.
"Thank you for all your prayers, everybody," he told the crowd at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Aug. 23, 2015, but did not speak otherwise.
Bobby didn't headline the concert -- nor was he on the bill. He made a surprise appearance during the concert, joining Macy Gray on stage for a performance of their 2010 song "Real Love."
The crowd cheered loudly for Bobby, who was dressed impeccably.
Bobby's return to the stage must have felt good: He often turned to music (and faith) for support during his daughter's final months, though he performed only rarely while she was in hospice care. He struggled to get through a Fourth of July performance earlier this year, saying, "Sorry. I'm in a different zone tonight. Y'all got me sweating and dancing. I'm so happy to be here tonight."
