Betty White blasts lion slayer, Betty White may be 93 years of age, yet Cecil the lion's executioner, Walter James Palmer, better stay away from the prestigious every living creature's common sense entitlement lobbyist. On Thursday, White said, "You would prefer not to hear a percentage of the things I need to do to that man." The on-screen character, as anyone might expect, was dismayed by the Minnesota dental practitioner killing the celebrated lion on July 1 while chasing in Zimbabwe.
White, who was advancing her new employment facilitating "Pawgust" — a large number of creature specials and shows to be circulated in August on the Discovery Family Channel — told the AP, "It's such a heartbreaker. You can't even discuss it. What's more, to see this ruler of the wilderness and exemplifying it all around, this beautiful animal… How would somebody be able to do that?"
The veteran star, obviously, joins a huge number of different big names who have been insulted by Palmer's activities. As Gossip Cop has already reported, on his Tuesday show, Jimmy Kimmel called his killing of Cecil "just vomitous." Earlier on Thursday, Gossip Cop noted Whoopi Goldberg said on "The View," "That was not a chase, that was a homicide."
Palmer, who has practically vanished since his executing of Cecil became visible, baited the lion out of the Hwange National Park with the assistance of two neighborhood seekers, and shot the enormous feline with crossbows. The dental specialist then followed Cecil for 40 hours prior to shooting the lion dead, and cleaning and decapitatin
