X-Men: Apocalypse' First Footage Just Destroyed Our World

X-Men: Apocalypse' First Footage Just Destroyed Our World, Fans at San Diego Comic-Con — including MTV News — were treated to a gander at the forthcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse," and we gotta say, we don't hate this latest mutation by any stretch of the imagination.

The board started with a sizzle reel that incorporated the awwww-dorable unique 1999 tryout of Hugh Jackman for Wolverine. "You think I requested this, eh?"

Jackman was the first out to the board, who said, "Man, have I matured… .I have three words for you: Old Man Logan. Take from that what you will."

He called Wolverine the greatest superhero ever constructed. "I may be one-sided," he said, expressing gratitude toward the fans for being "the most faithful, passionate, legit, here and there mercilessly legitimate" individuals on the planet.

"I know they slaughtered off Wolverine in the comic books as of late, yet in the motion pictures, hey, he's not dead yet," he said of his character.

"This next time will be my keep going time putting on the hooks. One. Last. Time," Jackman said. "This has been the greatest thing that ever happened to me."Jackman presented executive Bryan Singer, who entered the stage at a run.

"I had never known all the more in my life that I had not landed a position," Jackman said of the trial tape that ultimately prompted 10 years in addition to travel with the X-Men establishment. Clearly he wasn't right: Also caught in the reel was Singer's on-the-spot employment offer to Jackman. "I truly need this work out."

The pair embraced it out and said their "I adore yous" before Singer got out Evan Peters, Lucas Till, Lana Confor, Kody Smit-McPhee, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Nicholas Hoult, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Oscar Isaac, Olivia Munn, Ben Hardy, Alexandra Shipp and author maker Simon Kinberg. And, shock! The cast brought the first bit of footage, cut into trailer structure, after only five weeks of taping. As Singer set up, the world that "End of the world happens in will be in 1983 and "the world has now acknowledged mutants because of the great valor of Raven, Mystique. Mutants are generally acknowledged and grasped by society. In a few spots, most places."

Vocalist cautioned that the footage — which looked stunning — was all that much unfinished.

"Film school disclaimer, this is kind of cut in trailer format yet it speaks to just around 5 weeks of shooting, no completed visual impacts or anything like that," he said. "In any case, what it does speak to are the tastes and tone of the motion picture we're making."

Also, that tone is wonderful.

We got our first take a gander at Oscar Isaac's Apocalypse, a smooth looking blue man with dark markings all over, while a foreboding voiceover played.

"I've been brought numerous things over commonly of my life," he says. "I was there to start and stoke the fire of man's enlivening. To turn the wheel of civilization."

Moira MacTaggert (Rose Byrne) presents him as maybe "the world's first mutant."

"You are every one of my youngsters and you are lost, in light of the fact that you take after visually impaired pioneer," Apocalypse articulates. (!!!!) "All that they've assembled will fall and from the fiery debris of their reality we'll fabricate a superior one."

McAvoy, as Professor X, wears a head protector and cries in wonder. "What do you see?" he's inquired.

"Gracious god," is whatever he can reply. (Same.)

Later in the footage, his eyes turn unadulterated dark. "I've never felt force like this."

What's more, obviously, the last shot in the trailer presents Professor X as we probably am aware him: swinging gradually to the camera in his wheelchair, bare and genuine.

On the off chance that this is what Singer can do following five weeks, we can hardly wait to see the completed item next summer.

It was, as Hoult later said in the board, "Coo
