Two Word Obituary, Very much played. A North Dakota man made his uncommon tribute with only two words: "Doug kicked the bucket."
Douglas Legler, a 85-year-old prankster known for his goofy comical inclination, passed on Saturday in Fargo. He abandoned an adoring family — and certain directions for his tribute.
"He said again and again, when I bite the dust I need my tribute to simply say, 'Doug Died,'" Janet Stoll, Legler's girl, told WDAY. "(Other individuals' eulogies) would say, 'He was the president of this, a chief of this,' and Dad would say, 'What, wouldn't they be able to hold down a vocation?'"
The brief declaration in the Forum of Fargo-Moorhead was Legler's last trick.
"I'm certain he's snickering up there now," Stoll says.Legler, a truck driver and candy machine repair man, was a long lasting joker with a skill for making everybody around him chuckle, Stoll said.
"He was extremely carefree and had an incredible comical inclination," she said. "He was unique, he truly was. Everybody cherished him that met him."
Legler's darling wife Beverly passed on 17 years back. His better half, Renee, passed on the previous fall. Regardless of the hardships, the 85-year-old kept up his mind and endearing personality, Stoll said.
His family will hold a commemoration administration for him Thursday night — a key detail let alone for the eulogy that was shorter than his own particular n
