Stephen Colbert Eminem, Stephen Colbert is taking satire back to its homegrown roots.
The satirist, who finished his keep running as host of "The Colbert Report" and will start "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" in September, went to Monroe, Michigan, to host "Just in Monroe," a neighborhood community link show. The humorist talked with rapper Eminem and investigated the town's history.
"Since my last show finished in December, I've been tingling to host a syndicated program once more, however my new theater's not prepared yet, so I chose to make a beeline for Monroe, Michigan, glance around, and give it a Michigander," Colbert said, pausing to water a fake plant.
"The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" will air on Sept. 8 on CBS.
