Medical caretaker drops infant at doctor's facility, breaking his skull - A Pennsylvania healing center and neighborhood powers are examining what may have brought on a veteran attendant to drop an infant, cracking his skull. Jacqueline Hunt, the infant's mom, told WPXI-TV that a pediatrician said the medical caretaker was nourishing and burping her 1-day-old child, Eli, at Uniontown Hospital when the attendant got to be "languid and nodded off and dropped him." A Uniontown Hospital representative said the child is relied upon to recuperate.

The healing facility and Uniontown police say the 30-year veteran medical attendant at Uniontown Hospital was holding the infant at around 6 a.m. Tuesday when he tumbled from her grip.

The healing facility says, "We are sad that such a heavenly occasion has been dominated by a grievous circumstance."
Police are exploring yet say they don't accept criminal behavior was included.
