Missing Couple Found,The bodies of a man and a lady accepted to be a Phoenix-region couple missing for over a week were recuperated from a property close to their home, and a man who lives there was arrested, authorities said Thursday.
Michael Careccia, 44, and his wife, Tina, 42, have not been seen since they headed out from their house around 5 a.m. June 22. After the man's son reported them missing that night, authorities have gone way to entryway, dispatched air and ground searches, and used dogs to attempt to track their scent.
The couple's surrendered auto was later discovered secured in soil around a half-mile far from their home in Maricopa, around 35 miles south of Phoenix.
The recuperated bodies are accepted to be the couple's, Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu said in a statement. Jose Valenzuela, 38, of Maricopa, was arrested and set up for penitentiary on suspicion of first-degree murder. No data around an intention or details about the search of the property were quickly released.There has been no action associated with the couple's phones, financial balances, charge cards or social media accounts since they turned up gone, investigators said.
The Careccias' relatives have been advised of the recuperation and arrest, Babeu said.
"Our investigators and staff proceed to deliberately accumulate proof that we accept will demonstrate discriminating to our investigation and result in a stronger criminal case," the sheriff said.
Sheriff's officials served a search warrant Wednesday at a home blocks from the couple's residence, and deputies were seen burrowing on the property.
Babeu said this week that investigators had confirmation suggesting unfairness in the case however he couldn't release details because the investigation was progressing.
Details are required to be released at a news meeting scheduled for early afternoon Thursday.
