Harry Shearer Is Returning to ‘The Simpsons’, Mr. Smolders" will be back. Subsequent to arranging another arrangement, Harry Shearer is actually coming back to "The Simpsons" next season, Variety has affirmed.
Under the new settlement, Shearer will keep on giving his voice to the characters of Mr. Blazes, Ned Flanders, Waylon Smithers and Principal Skinner on the long-running Fox arrangement.
Shearer's arrival, initially reported by EW, comes after an open contract debate, at last coming about with Shearer tweeting, back in May, that he'd be leaving the hit enlivened arrangement after 26 seasons. At the time, "Simpsons" executive makers Matt Groening, Al Jean and Brooks discharged an announcement, affirming his takeoff, including that Shearer's parts would be recast, as opposed to his characters being killed off.
"Harry Shearer was offered the same arrangement whatever is left of the cast acknowledged, and passed," the trio expressed. "The show will go on and we wish him well. Maggie took it hard."
