Back To The Future,With "Back to the Future" praising its 30th commemoration, and the late accomplishment of different reboots and spin-offs of '80s and '90s movies, its characteristic to consider the likelihood of a revamp of the 1985 exemplary.
To that, executive Robert Zemeckis says: Over my dead body!
In a meeting with the U.K. Broadcast, Zemeckis was clear about the possibilities of another "Back to the Future" film.
"Goodness, God no. That can't happen until both Bob [Gale] and I are dead," he said. "And after that I'm certain they'll do it, unless there's a way our bequests can stop it."Zemeckis and Gale composed "Back to the Future" together, and the previous guided it. Their agreement on the film give them veto rights over any related movies for whatever length of time that they both live. That is not the situation on another Zemeckis-coordinated motion picture, "Romancing the Stone," a revamp of which has been underway for quite a long while. Yet, he was only a firearm for contract on that motion picture and has "no control over that."
The executive, however, is unmistakably not an aficionado of changing motion pictures. "That is to say, to me, that is incredible. Particularly since its a decent film. It's similar to stating 'How about we revamp Citizen Kane. Who are we going to get the chance to play Kane?' What indiscretion, what craziness is that? Why might anybody do that?"
Try not to place thoughts into Hollywood's head, Bob.
