World's Oldest Cat, The world's most seasoned residential feline has passed on.
Tiffany Two passed away in her rest matured 27 years, two months and nine days.
The feisty cat lost her ninth life while in her rest, nestled up alongside her long-term proprietor in San Diego, California.
Sharron Voorhees paid £6 for the short-haired dark and orange tortoiseshell when she purchased her from a pet store at six weeks old.
She named her after a past feline she had which passed on in the 1970s.
"She spent her last days laying either on the deck or down in the yard," Sharron said.
"She used to rest right beside me consistently.
"However, as of late she dozed amidst the staircase, or, most as of late, she had taken up home on the pooch's enormous cushion bed in the family room.
"However, that night she rested by me on her warmed cushion. Also, that is the place she passed."
"I feel approve about everything," she included. "I did have quite a while with her and I feel the end was as immaculate as it can be without horribleness.
"She simply cherished me to pieces and was unmistakably given to me."
Tiffany Two was conceived on March 13, 1988 and was delegated the most established living feline by the Guinness Book of World Records in October 2014, only seven months prior to her passing.
In spite of the fact that she was a world record holder, she missed the mark regarding the title of the most established feline ever.
That crown is still held by Cream Puff from Austin, Texas, who was conceived on August 3, 1967, and lived until the age of 38 years and three days.
A representative for Guinness World records said: "We are exceptionally disheartened to hear that Tiffany Two, the holder of most established feline living record, has passed away in her rest at 27 years old years two months 20 days."
"We are presently researching and confirming the potential successors for the most seasoned living feline title and will declare this once we're in a position to do as such.
"We invite applications for this title.
