Shooting Wedding Astoria, A gun incidentally released amid a weekend wedding at the Waldorf Astoria in New York, powers said.
Visitors were taking pictures at a hall when the weapon went off Saturday night, CNN partner WABC reported.
It was in the pocket of a 42-year-old visitor when it went off, brushing a lady in the head when the projectile ricocheted. She was not truly harmed, the member reported.
Four others were harmed when they were hit by smashed glass or garbage, and treated at neighborhood healing centers, as indicated by the partner.
The visitor conveying the weapon was confined and addressed by police, as per the member, yet it is indistinct whether he will face charges.
The Waldorf Astoria permitted the couple to proceed with the wedding service, however requested that visitors leave after 10 p.m., WABC said.
The inn said it is collaborating with specialists.
"The security and security of our visitors and colleagues are the inn's top needs," Waldorf Astoria said in an announcement.
