Shaq reprimanded his marketing organization for the post, according to the announcement distributed by Deadspin.
"This post was insulting and hostile, and I apologize to everybody who ran over it," Shaq said. "When I discovered that it was on my Facebook page and site, I requested it evacuated and let go the firm that posted it.
