The shooting happened at 7:25 p.m. Saturday in the Park Avenue lodging's entryway.
Police say the wedding visitor's firearm released and the slug hit the floor.
In a preparation before the inn, Manhattan Chief of Detectives William Aubry says four individuals were hit by shrapnel from the slug or trash, for example, marble or glass.
The shooter was set collared. He was not instantly recognized.
A Fire Department representative says the four casualties were brought to healing facilities with minor wounds.
