Lupita Jones says through her official Twitter account that she was insulted and irate "like others" with Trump over his remarks alluding to Mexican migrants as offenders and attackers.
Jones was Miss Universe 1991 and runs the Mexico rivalry. She said Trump harmed the event and its convention of gathering nations for an occasion that showcases "kinship, solidarity and separating social obstructions."
She commended Mexico's media goliath Televisa for choosing not to air the show in declaring that Mexico would not partake.
