Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jerry Seinfeld and Julia Louis-Dreyfus had a mini "Seinfeld" get-together on last night's season six debut of "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" and we adored each minute of it.
Jerry and Elaine rejoined on Seinfeld's Crackle web series to get up to speed, reminisce about their hit TV show, blah.
"You are the James Bond of comic drama," Seinfeld told the "Veep" star when she stepped into his 1964 Aston Martin. "Whatever the mission, you come in and murder it."
The team also spotted another A-lister, Hilary Swank, out and about. "You don't bring any consideration regarding yourself — by any means," Swank, who was driving a more modest Audi, clowned.
Louis-Dreyfus is the last major "Seinfeld" alum (after Michael Richards and Jason Alexander) to show up on "Comedians in Cars."
In spite of the fact that Seinfeld and Louis-Dreyfus didn't spill any secrets from the series, Alexander showed up on "The Howard Stern Show" on Wednesday morning and uncovered why his character Geoege's life partner, Susan, was killed off from "Seinfeld."
"The actress (Heidi Swedberg) is this eminent young lady, and … I adore her!" Alexander said. "I couldn't make sense of how to play off of her. Her instincts for doing a scene — where the drama was — and mine were always misfiring."
Louis-Dreyfus kidded that one solution would be killing Susan on the show, and maker Larry David concurred. Susan unfortunately passed on licking lethal paste lined wedding envelopes in the famous episode "The Invit
