John Paulson Gives $400 Million to Harvard for Engineering School, Harvard University got a $400 million blessing for its School of Engineering and Applied Sciences—its biggest ever blessing, the school declared Wednesday.The gift originates from , the elite rich person cash supervisor behind Paulson & Co., who moved on from Harvard Business School. To respect his gift, the school will be renamed the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, the college said in a news discharge.

"There is nothing more critical to enhance humankind than training," Paulson said in the discharge. "For a long time, Harvard has had a significant worldwide effect over a huge number of controls that advantages all of mankind. Today's blessing will help proceed with that legacy by making SEAS a 21st-century building pioneer. It gives a strong enrichment to staff advancement, exploration, grants, and budgetary guide."

The college, for the most part thought to be the most seasoned in the U.S., has already gotten major endowments like the to its School of Public Health. At the same time, Paulson's positions as the biggest in Harvard's history.
