Fred Hoiberg's NBA Move Another Sign College Game Has Lost Its Coaching Luster, The Chicago Bulls made it official Tuesday, employing Iowa State's Fred Hoiberg to supplant Tom Thibodeau.

Hoiberg was since a long time ago reputed as the substitution for Thibodeau, who was let go a week ago after five seasons.

Hoiberg went 115-56 with the Cyclones, including four straight NCAA Tournament appearances and consecutive Big 12 competition titles. He had open-heart surgery in April.
