Fake DUI Checkpoint, Police say a man who set up a tanked driving checkpoint complete with street flares while putting on a show to be a Pennsylvania state trooper was inebriated.
Troopers say 19-year-old Logan Shaulis, of Somerset, stopped his vehicle askew crosswise over state Route 601 and set up street flares at around 4 a.m. Saturday.
A driver who ceased says Shaulis asserted he was a trooper and requested to see a driver's permit, enrollment and protection papers.
At the point when genuine troopers arrived, police say Shaulis attempted to hand a BB gun to the auto's traveler and said, "I can't get got with this."
