Enrique Iglesias recovering after fingers sliced at concert, Enrique Iglesias was recouping Sunday after some of his fingers were cut when he got an automaton amid a show in Tijuana, Mexico.
A delegate for the vocalist said in an announcement to The Associated Press that Iglesias was "semi-treated" after the mishap along the edge of the stage to stop the draining on Saturday night. He was encouraged to end the show yet went ahead to perform for an extra 30 minutes.
"Amid the demonstrate an automaton is utilized to get swarm shots and a few evenings Enrique snatches the automaton to give the crowd a Point of View shot. Something turned out badly and he had a mishap," the announcement read. "He chose to go on and kept playing for 30 minutes while the draining proceeded all through the show."
Concertgoers at Plaza de Toros de Playas posted photographs on social networking of Iglesias, 40, with blood everywhere on his white T-shirt.
He was raced to the air terminal where a rescue vehicle met him there. He was then put on a plane to L.A. to see an expert," the announcement read.
Iglesias' show for 12,000 fans is a piece of his Sex and Love World Tour. His site says his next show is in July in Mexico City.
