David Cassidy Is Bankrupt, Forced To Sell Home, Seventies heartthrob David Cassidy is putting his Fort Lauderdale home available to be purchased.

A government liquidation court has requested the previous pop artist and star of "The Partridge Family" to unload his waterfront home Sept. 9.

Cassidy's 6,400-square-foot home incorporates six rooms and six bathrooms. Different conveniences are a swimming pool, dock and pontoon lift.

As indicated by Broward County property records, Cassidy, 65, purchased the home in 2001 for $1.1 million. Fisher Auction Company is supervising the deal. Bidders must prequalify to partake.

The same closeout organization took care of the 2013 deal for $41.5 million of the Miami Beach manor where design fashioner Gianni Versace lived and was killed.
