Couple, aged 103 and 91, become world's oldest newlyweds, A 103-year-old man and a 91-year-old lady held their wedding in Britain on Saturday, turning into the most established couple to get hitched on the planet.

George Kirby and Doreen Luckie - together for a long time - looked charmed as they got married at an inn in the ocean side town of Eastbourne, southern England, before close loved ones.

The lady wore a white dress with blue blossoms while the man of the hour, a previous boxer, was dressed shrewdly in a suit and tie, and was in a wheelchair taking after a late fall.

With a joined age of 194 years, the pair beat the past record held by a French couple, Francois Fernandez and Madeleine Francineau, who had a consolidated age of 191 years.

Talking in front of the function, Luckie said the couple had "no second thoughts" about not doing it prior. "We would not like to make a fuss over marriage before yet inevitably we did it," she said.

The couple supposedly have seven kids, 15 grandchildren and seven awesome grandchildren between them.

They got connected with on Valentine's Day this year, as per the Daily Mail.

"I didn't get down on one knee, in light of the fact that I don't think I would have possessed the capacity to get move down," the daily paper cited Kirby as saying.
