The 43-year-old long-lasting The Bachelor host tended to the part taking after Soules and Bischoff's declaration Thursday.
"I'm really to learn that Chris and Whitney have finished their engagement," Harrison told E! News. "I think of them as both companions and will do anything I can to bolster them amid an extreme time."
Soules and Bischoff canceled their engagement only 11 weeks after fans saw the truth star propose on the season 19 finale. Harrison talked about the separation again Thursday on Home & Family, and conceded he was amazed by the news.
"[Soules] went ahead to do Dancing with the Stars and moved back to Iowa, and I thought they had given it a go and were backtracking together yet clearly not," he shared. "I know it is TV and I know there are senseless things that go on, in any case, to me, they are likewise genuine individuals."
"They're only two children that were ideally going to get hitched and they're not currently and that is tragic," he said of the 33-year-old rancher and 29-year-old richness medical caretaker. "They're still two individuals experiencing a separation, so its still extreme. I wish them the best."Of the 28 couples who met on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, just six are still attached. Season 18 Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis and sweetheart Nikki Ferrell part in October, and season 10 Bachelorette and life partner Josh Murray finished their engagement in January.
