Chris Evans believes Jeremy Clarkson could've returned to Top Gear, Chris Evans accepts Jeremy Clarkson could've come back to 'Top Gear' if James May and Richard Hammond had acknowledged new contracts.

The BBC Radio 2 DJ was reported as the new host of the BBC Two motoring show prior this week yet he's currently asserted Jeremy - who was sacked after he punched a maker consecutively more than a steak - may have been permitted to return if his co-hosts had consented to front the show without him for some time.

He said: "I would love to see James and Richard back doing it and who knows, possibly on the off chance that they'd have return for a year, perhaps Jeremy would've return following a year.

"I adored 'Top Gear' how it was, trust me, I'm the most obvious who doesn't need it to change."
