Bryce Harper Home Run Derby

Bryce Harper Home Run Derby,In spite of being tied for real association lead in grand slams, Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper is considering skipping out on the homer derby.Harper told the Cincinnati Enquirer that he may not take an interest in the long ball occasion but rather that he hasn't settled on an official conclusion.

"We'll check whether I wind up doing it or not," Harper said. "Starting at this moment, I don't know whether I'll wind up doing it."

One reason Harper may go on the occasion is his dad's late surgery. Ron Harper contributed for Bryce Harper the 2013 grand slam derby, when he completed second to Yoenis Cespedes. Ron Harper had rotator sleeve surgery after a snowboarding mishap, Bryce Harper told the newspaper."I presumably won't have the capacity to do it this year, on the grounds that he's my fellow," Harper told the Enquirer of his dad.

The fourth-year veteran has 18 grand slams this season, tied with Nelson Cruz for the most in Major League Baseball. Harper is second in the majors with 43 RBIs.

Critic's choice occasions will be held at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati from July 12-14. Harper said his dad was a Reds fan growing up.

"My father taught me about the Big Red Machine and each one of those gentlemen. And afterward there's Barry Larkin - I could continue forever," Bryce Harper said. "I know a ton about the Reds' history as a result of my father. It's enjoyable to converse with him about it."
