Andy Lee Punter, The Browns have gained three-time Pro Bowl punter Andy Lee in an exchange with the San Francisco 49ers.

The Browns likewise waived punter Spencer Lanning, who marked with the club as a free operators in 2013.

Cleveland sent a late-cycle 2017 draft pick to the Niners for Lee, who made the Pro Bowl in the 2007, 2009 and 2011 seasons. His days in San Francisco were numbered when the Niners drafted Clemson punter Bradley Pinion.

Lanning's discharge finishes a clean breadth of Cleveland's authorities. Long snapper Christian Yount was waived a week ago and the club cut kicker Garrett Hartley, who assumed control over the kicking obligations late last season after Billy Cundiff was let go.

Lanning had been planned to show up at the group's fanfest on Saturday. He conveyed a note of thanks on Twitter to Cleveland fans for their backing.
