Amazing photo shows Yosemite’s Half Dome on fire, At first look, blazes seem, by all accounts, to be ascending out of the notorious Half Dome in Yosemite National Park with smoke encompassing the glorious top.
In any event it would seem that Half Dome is ablaze in the photograph. On the other hand maybe the flame is behind Half Dome.
Turns out, its not one or the other. It's a photograph that just resembles a fire, taken at the opportune spot at the ideal time by Austin Jenanyan, a 20-year-old photographic artist at present working the late spring at Glacier National Park in Montana.
Jenanyan called the stunning picture "Discharge and ice crash at dawn in Yosemite," and disclosed in an email to GrindTV how he got the shot:
"I was capturing impressions of a cold Half Dome along the Merced River before the sun came up when I saw a solitary cloud beginning to conform to Half Dome. I exchanged lenses and zoomed into get a nearby up.
"After a few shots, the cloud began to change shape and inevitably transformed into the careful state of a fire. It was extraordinary to witness as it looked like Half Dome was ablaze! It endured just a couple short minutes before scattering. With everything taken into account an exceptionally strange and otherworldly experience."
Jenanyan caught the photograph on February 28, yet its first open introduction came through the U.S. Bureau of Interior Facebook page, which posted it a week ago with Jenanyan's gift.
"It did truly well on every one of their records: Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, and particularly on Facebook," Jenanyan told GrindTV. "It was by a long shot the most famous photograph to date. Individuals were truly interested by it."
Which is not really an amazement. It is intriguing.
