Altercation on trading floor led to powerful moment, Maria Bartiromo has been a pioneer in the news-casting industry. She joined CNBC in 1993 following five years as a maker, essayist and task proofreader with CNN Business News, where she composed and created some of CNN's top business programs. In 1995, she turned into the first writer to report live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange regularly.

Bartiromo has secured business and the economy for over 25 years and was one of the building pieces of business link system CNBC. Amid her 20-year residency as the substance of CNBC, she dispatched the system's morning project, "Cackle Box"; secured "The Closing Bell with Maria Bartiromo"; and was the stay and overseeing editorial manager of the broadly syndicated "On the Money with Maria Bartiromo," in the past "The Wall Street Journal Report with Maria Bartiromo."

Bartiromo joined FOX Business Network as their Global Markets Editor in January 2014. She is the stay of "Mornings with Maria Bartiromo" and "Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo."

She is the beneficiary of various prestigious grants, including two Emmys and a Gracie Award. In 2009, the Financial Times named her one of the "50 Faces That Shaped the Decade," and she was the first female columnist to be accepted into the Cable Hall of Fame Class of 2011.

Bartiromo is the writer of a few books, including "The Weekend That Changed Wall Street," and "The 10 Laws of Enduring Success," both discharged in 2010.

She lives in New York City with her spouse Jonathan Steinberg.
