Adorable baby koala cuddles mom during surgery,It's a picture that could dissolve the coldest of hearts. Ghost the child koala, or joey, sticks to his mom while she experiences surgery at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital in Queensland, Australia.
In a Facebook post on June 9 Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors clarified that Phantom and his mom Lizzy were hit by an auto west of Brisbane. While Phantom rose up out of the experience unscathed, Lizzy experienced treatment for face injury and a caved in lung.
The uplifting news is that Phantom's mother endured her surgery. "Lizzy is presently on anti-toxins and is getting a lot of TLC from the vet group and six-month old Phantom, who is excessively youthful, making it impossible to walk out on her," clarified Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors, in its Facebook post.
To date, more than 58,000 creatures have been dealt with at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital.
