23-Year Prison Sentence for Woman in Slow Cooker Death, A Detroit lady who was plastered when she murdered a companion with a moderate cooker amid a contention over legislative issues was sentenced to no less than 23 years in jail, the Associated Press reports.

Tewana Sullivan's blood-liquor level was five times as far as possible for driving when she beat Cheryl Livy with a moderate cooker at the casualty's loft.

"I didn't take my medicine like I should, so I did foul up," Sullivan told Wayne County Judge Michael Hathaway.
