Westboro Baptist Church Flag, J.K. Rowling squashed feedback that her Twitter war with Westboro Baptist Church really helped spread the congregation's against gay message.
After an open online networking tango in the middle of Rowling and the disputable Kansas-based church, Rowling reacted to a fan that said giving the congregation consideration "was counterproductive." Rowling tweeted, "I believe its imperative that frightened gay children who aren't out yet see detest discourse tested. "The Twitter disaster played out subsequent to Rowling posted a celebratory tweet after Ireland sanctioned same-sex marriage:
A fan tweeted that they trusted Dumbledore, who Rowling uncovered was gay in 2007, would feel welcome in Ireland. Accordingly, Rowling posted a photo of Keanu Reeves with the inquiry, "Imagine a scenario in which Dumbledore and Gandalf (Lord of the Rings) were gay together.
